My dog threw up Heartgard. When can I give him another dose?

Hi, I fed my 25kg dog his Heartgard last night at 9pm,and today he vomited up three quarters of the Heartgard at 7am together with bile. Should I give him another dose, or just give him another three-quarter dose? Thanks. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 7 years and 3 months old | 55 lbs

You can give him another full dose but I would wait a couple of days. That is very abnormal that the Heartgard would not have been digested fully and out of the stomach after 10 hours....... When you give it again I think you should give it with a piece of bread to help with digestion.
