My unspayed dog with a broken leg is vomiting and has discharge

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Doberman Pinscher | Female | unspayed

My dog broke her front leg a week ago. Due to swelling over the injured area, vet refused to plaster the fracture. Now she is not eating for last 2-3 days and breathing heavily. She just drinks lot of water and then puke it out. The vet put her on IV too a day back. After that some liquid is dripping out from her hind. I don't know what to do. Please help.

You need to take Broony back into a vet now, it sounds like she needs intensive care at the vet. I see she isn't spayed, and I'm concerned she could also have a pyometra (infection of the uterus) if she is having discharge from her back end, drinking lots of water, vomiting, and not eating.
