My dog threw up undigested food. Is it serious? When to see a vet?

Giulio had a vomiting episode this morning with small pieces of undigsted food particles. He has not had any changes in his diet and has been tolerating the food without any issues. Can this happen sometimes? Should I be concerned? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 17 lbs
