Puppy has worms in stool. What OTC dewormer is best for him?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Male | unneutered | 4 months old | 10 lbs

I noticed worms in my puppy’s stool last night and this morning. He turned 4 months today. He’s a miniature goldendoodle. Which over the counter dewormer can I get that will cure it? I’m desperate and completely freaked out. Please help!

Those look like tapeworms, which requires praziquantel to treat. That is a prescription medication, so you will need to take Kiko into the vet to get Drontal (which contains praziquantel) to treat it.
