Why is my dog's butt bleeding, swollen, and painful to touch?

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 20 lbs

I have a beagle, 1yr old. I suddenly saw something is bleeding near her butt. And she cried every time i touch it. I think its swollen but there's blood coming out of it.

Hello. This is most likely an anal gland that became infected & ruptured. It could also be a bite wound, but this is a common presentation of a ruptured anal gland. Summer needs to see her veterinarian to have the area cleaned up & antibiotics will most likely be prescribed. She should heal quickly once treatment is started.
