My newborn kitten is weak. What can I feed it without a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Kitty barely clinging on and vets not an option since parents don’t care. I already got answer to put honey on it’s gums but I’m not even sure I have honey. I have to keep asking like this because I don’t have the time or money for the premium service. Thank you Dr.Melanie but is that really all I can do

I'm sorry you are in this situation. You can try Karo syrup if you have that. The problem is that newborn kittens are extremely fragile, and some do not make it. They cannot go long without eating. You can try giving it an emergency formula, but you will have to get kitten formula as soon as possible. I will link an article below on kitten care: https://www.petcoach.co/article/how-to-raise-orphan-kittens/ https://www.2ndchance.info/orphankitten.htm
