Thank you for submitting your question regarding Kida. I recommend that she sees a veterinarian. Respiratory issues can be very serious. If she is breathing with her mouth open at all, then you need to seek emergency care right away as this indicates respiratory distress. I hope this information helps!

I'm afraid that breathing faster than normal is not something that can be treated at home - in most cases, it is a sign of a serious respiratory problem. It's important to find out what is causing the fast breathing first, so you will need to take Oreo to the vet right away for an exam. He/she can listen to her heart and lungs, and may also take chest x-rays if needed to help diagnose the problem. Once this has been done, your vet will discuss what kind of treatment is needed.

Cats can be breathing faster or any number of reasons. I can't tell you why without examining the cat myself. It could be anything from fluid in the lungs, heart disease, trauma, infectious disease to cancer. She will need to see a vet and have some x-rays to get a diagnosis.

Hello. This is not normal at all and I would recommend having him to a vet ASAP. He could have heart disease, asthma, or other life-threatening issues. I would get him to a vet now. Good luck with Buddy.
