Why does my dog have sudden dry bumpy patches under his coat?

My pup has dry bumpy patches under his coat. They weren’t there yesterday. He’s had this before and had to take antibiotics. Pet's info: Dog | Mastiff | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 130 lbs

If he's had this before and had antibiotics that worked, I suspect it's a bacterial skin infection. I'd take him back into the vet in the morning. If he does have a bacterial skin infection again, the vet can treat it. I hope this helps!
