Is it safe to give my dog Allergex or calming tabs for anxiety?

Hi there As Diwali is coming up here in SA I have been hearing people say that they give their dogs calming tabs and allegex tabs to calm them down /to make then sleepy. Is that okay to do so. I have a 2 year old jacj Russell. Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | unneutered

Yes, you can use Allergex (loratadine). You should use the tablets and not the liquid. He would need one tablet 1-2 times per day. I wouldn't get my hopes up that this will make him overly sleepy but you can try.
