Why is my cat still lethargic and not eating after normal vet tests?

Question

My cat is very lethargic and does not really want to eat or drink. Seems to want to stay in the basement even when I am letting him up for the day (he sleeps in the basement). Took him to the vet ..... no fever, no apparent tumors when palpated, did blood workup and all came back normal but he is still acting like he wants to just die. I don't know what to do or have no answer!!!!! Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 6 lbs

He needs more testing. Just because the blood work is normal does not mean there is nothing underlying. Something is wrong. I suggest x-rays as the next step and maybe an ultrasound of the abdomen.
