My cat is lethargic, wobbly, not eating. Is it a pigeon emergency?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 19 days old | 5 lbs

Artemis is not earing or moving to much, when she dose she wobbles often walking with her claws stretched to hold on. My step-dad say she is lathargic or got stepped on by a calf. But she is to smart to get stepped on! I think it has something to do with her eating a pigeon a few days ago.

I agree, it could be eating the pigeon. It is a medical emergency when a cat won't eat, as if they go long enough without eating (about 72 hours), they will develop a fatty liver. A fatty liver is fatal without treatment. If there was a way to treat this at home, I would tell you, but there is not. She has to see a vet now.
