My dog was taken into the vets with bloating last Monday. The bloating had gone down by the time we got there. So was given metacam for pain. The vet ruled out pyometra. He said she probably needed a poo. However she's still walking with a hunched back and sometimes has bloat. She also is sleeping a lot. The pain seems worse after eating. She also keeps going really hot then cold. She's just come out of season and is two years old. Her abdomen sometimes feels hard. Any idea what's causing it

This presentation could be due to a gastrointestinal inflammation/infection, which needs to be further investigated by your local veterinarian. Further investigations such as abdominal ultrasound or x rays are likely to be needed.
