How can I find a cite that will tell me which brand of food is best for my cat? I’ve been reading horror stories about how commercial pet food is prepared and how detrimental and down right dangerous it is to a cat’s health and quality of life. There must be some manufacturer who cares about more than profit. Help. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 10 years and 9 months old | 9 lbs

Don't believe those sites. Typically they are written by people who have absolutely no training in animal nutrition. The best brands of cat food are Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. They meet AAFCO standards, run feeding trials, and (most important), have veterinary nutritionists on staff that ensure the food is healthy and balanced. They are the only brands to have this. I feed my cats Iams, and they love it (including my Persian).
