4-month puppy has red eyes & boogers. Is it an environmental allergy?

Hi , my puppy around 4 months old is getting red eyes repeatedly. I’ve been taking her to work with me and while we were gone from home for longer periods of time I’d notice her eyes were clearing up but when we’d get home she’d start to get the red eyes again. It’s mostly just her one eye. This has been happening for about a week now. She’s also having increased eye boogers throughout the day. I thought it must be an environmental allergy because it kept coming and going but I’m not sure. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 9 months and 8 days old | 22 lbs
