Bertie is limping, I think he has cracked / pictured his front left paw pad. I’m bathing it in hibiscrub and putting Vaseline on. How long will it take to heal?

I would bring Bertie to the veterinarian. I don't see a crack or cut in the paw but without an examination on this paw it is hard to say. His inter-digital area between his pads are inflamed which would lead me to think he is licking. Your veterinarian will be able to perform an examination and see what is going on. Ouch. That looks like a cracked paw pad. I would keep the area clean and dry (that sand he's on is going to easily get in there and lead to infection or more pain) and use a bootie and Elizabethan (cone) collar to help protect the paw. If it seems to be swelling, hot to to the touch, worsening, or looks infected, it should be seen by your vet right away to be cleaned and treated.
