My cat's ear wounds won't heal after antibiotics. Could it be serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 years and 11 months old

My cat has no hairs on her ears as she had mange when she was kitten ...now she has wounds on her ear which are not healing..we gave her antibiotics also ..

None healing ulcerated wounds can indicate something like cancer or an autoimmune disease. I recommend to discuss having one of the lesions biopsied. Also make sure to protect the lesions from scratching by having Pixie wearing an elizabethan collar at all times. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
