The most common reason for hair loss in rabbits is skin parasites like mites. If he only has one spot I would not be overly worried just now. Just monitor him and if you notice more spots showing up or he is scratching/itching then you need to get him to a vet for an exam.

Hi and thank you for your question, Unfortunately it is not possible to make a diagnosis based only on the pics. This skin lesion could be caused by a number of things (e.g. fungal, bacterial or parasitic infection), it could also just be a result of an old injury with a scab that was not noticeable until it came off. I recommend that you have Bambi checked by a vet, as some lab tests may be required. Regards

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Brownie. I recommend that she sees a veterinarian. I worry that she had a skin infection. Mites and ringworm are common in rabbits. The veterinarian will examine her and may perform skin tests. Based on these results, treatment can be started. In the meantime, keep her separate from any other pets you may have as some conditions are contagious. Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands after handling her as well as some diseases can be spread to people. I hope this information helps!
