Pet's info: Dog | White Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 11 days old
The white of Bear's right eye is red. He whimpers occasionally and tries to paw at it until I tell him to pay down. Hes been sleeping a lot today so far, and even though his food dish has been down for him for 3 hours he hasnt eaten any. Bear seemed fine this morning when we woke up.. And hes been by my side since then too.. What should i do? In this picture I gently pulled him eyelid down a bit to show the color.

Poor guy. It sounds like Bear likely has some kind of trauma (ulcer, scratch) on his eye or its possible some debris got in his eye. I would have him checked by your vet to have the eye examined more closely. The vet will likely do a special stain test to check for any scratches on the eye and then prescribe eye medication to resolve the redness/irritation. Until you can get Bear in to be seen, you can apply a warm wet cloth to the outer lid to help with some discomfort. I hope that your furry friend Bear feels better soon! Best of luck and take care
