My chihuahua has a rash and bites paws. What can I do until the vet?

Good evening, I have a 8 year old chihuahua and I noticed she has a rash on her bottom tail as well I see skin rash on back of her neck. She's been biting her paws. The vet doctor is not open at this time and was planning to take her tomorrow if possible. What can I do in the meantime? Thank you, Meraida Fermin. You can apply a cold compress to the affected areas if she will let you. Hold it there for 5 minutes. You can do this 3-5 times per day. This will help alleviate some of the itch and discomfort. Unfortunately there are no over the counter medications we can recommend for a dog this small. Please try to get her to your vet tomorrow if at all possible.
