Dog's UTI symptoms returned after meds. Should I see the vet?

My 5yo 11 pound poodle mix had 2 spots of blood in her urine on 10/3. On 10/4 she was seen at the vet with a definite UTI. 1ml of amoxicillin for 2 weeks. Seemed to be better after 3 days. Yesterday and last night she was drinking quite a bit more and of course urinating quite a bit more. Had a small accident going out and when I cleaned it up it was orange tinted. Should I make a follow up appt or wait til medicine is done and see how she is doing then? She never has had accidents before this. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

Yes, you should take her back to the vet for a follow-up. She should have an xray to check to see if she has bladder stones. Bladder stones irritate the lining of the bladder which can cause bleeding. If it was a simple UTI I would have expected it to be resolved by now.
