My dog licked Trident gum but didn't swallow. Xylitol poisoning risk?

I found my dog with an old piece of Trident . It looked to be an already chewed piece wrapped in the wrapper to be thrown away. She did not swallow it. Should I be concerned of xylitol poisoning? Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Pinscher | Female | spayed | 8 years and 3 months old | 16 lbs

If she licked it without swallowing it, it should not be a problem at all as it is just a small quantity. Strict monitoring for any sign of weakness or lethargy, depression, walking drunk acute collapse, vomiting, trembling or tremoring is needed.
