How to help my obese cat lose weight when I have multiple cats?

I have a cat close to 3.5 or 4 years old, female fixed not sure what breed i know she is a big breed but she is 16 lbs and snores and clearly is obese i need help to get her to lose weight like its making me depressed bad. I switched her to wet food i was going to limit intake of food but have 4 cats and its just so difficult i just need some help from anyone willing.

I would start all of them on a feeding schedule, and feed her separate from the other cats. When they are done eating, put the food away. That will help her lose weight. Good on your for wanting to do that!

    Feeding them separately is the best way because some cats simply over eat so another cat cannot get it! If that is not an option then once they finish their portion take the left overs away. You can also switch them to a weight control diet with more fiber and less calories. Increasing the activity level will burn extra calories but it is harder in cats than most animals. You can try chasing laser pointers or playing with feathered toys to get them more active
