My dog used to be loving and always near me now it’s the complete opposite. She has been licking her privates too much and growls and sometimes snaps when I reach for her. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 9 lbs

Licking the vulva a lot can be due to a UTI, bladder stones, or a pyometra. Ava may be feeling really poorly, which is likely why she growls and snaps when you reach for her. I'd take her into a vet first thing in the morning.
