Why is my glowlight tetra nipping my female betta's tail? What to do?

What are the causes of tail nipping? One of my glowlight tetras has just started nipping my female betta's tail.

Thanks for reaching out about Mr. Nugget. Tail nipping is most likely territoriality and aggression. Betta fish often do not play with others but the tetras can gang up on other fish. Try providing more hiding areas to give each areas for retreat. Good luck.
