Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 10 months and 20 days old | 3 lbs
My 10 month old kitten has been sick and not eating since I used chersitin flea med on him 4 days ago. Took him to the vet, blood work came back normal. Was given subq fluids for dehydration. Also gave him a bath to wash off the medication. He's still not eating or drinking though. I'm giving him a dropper of broth and pedialyte once every hour. Is this okay to do? What else can I do to help him recoverr?

Hello, I recommend having multiple types of smelly, soft food available to encourage Olly's appetite. Canned tuna may be helpful as well. If you are unable to encourage eating at home, he will need to be seen by a veterinarian. A dropper holds such a small amount of fluid that it is likely not making a difference. He will need to be eating on his own, or taking in a prescribed amount of liquid nutrition for it to be effective. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

This sounds like it may be a reaction to the medicine. Cats can be very sensitive to flea medicines. It cause shaking, twitching, jerking, foaming, vomiting, and seizure like behavior. To be safe I would try to wash as much of it off as you can with dawn dish soap as this will strip the meidcines and oil from his coat. Try to give him canned food or tuna to help stimulate his appetite. If he has further symptoms as describe above then he needed to be seen as an emergency tonight, if not he should be better by morning. If not, I would get him checked out then
