Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered
I was using the elliptical machine tonight when my cat ran in front of it and got hit. I was going moderately fast, but I know it must have still hurt (or spooked him) because he jumped and ran up the stairs. When I proceeded to pet him, he purred and seemed fine. I have felt at his sides (I hit him in the middle of his side) to check if he's bruised, and he hasn't flinched. He's eating and drinking normally and was playing and running around. Will he be fine, or should I be worried?

Oh no!! Poor Leon. He will most likely be fine based on his current normal behavior and appetite, but if you notice him become lethargic, more reclusive (and not just afraid of the elliptical machine), or a decrease in appetite, those are signs that he needs to see a vet. I hope this helps! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
