My dog's recent surgery incision is discharging. Is it normal?

My dog had surgery last Thursday between her shoulders to remove a growth. This is her incision site today. It appears to have started discharging which it had not been doing earlier. Does this seem normal? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 8 years and 11 months old | 65 lbs

Hello. Thanks for the picture. Things look pretty good. It is a little irritated at the top, but the majority of the incision looks perfect. I would just clean away any discharge with a little warm water & not fuss too much with things. Once the staples are out, everything will calm down & heal well.
