Why is my senior Pomeranian suddenly starving after heart medication?

Hi I have a 12 yr old Pomeranian I took him to the vets last week and he has been diagnosed with cancer and a heart murmur they can’t operate as they don’t think he will survive due to age and size and the heart murmur but he isn’t in any pain so they are leaving the lump but are treating the heart murmur with medication he has always been a very picky eater but the last couple of days I can’t seem to fill him he’s eating everything he can it got me a little concerned as it’s not like him. I hate to hear that about Gucci and that is odd that he is so hungry now. It's possible Gucci has not been feeling well for a while and now he feels better. It could also be a side effect of the medication. I recommend to call your vet and tell them what is happening.
