My dog has a patch of missing hair. Is it a snake bite or wound?

hello this is my dog bella, i was letting her inside and i noticed she had a small patch of hair missing and i have no idea what happened. it looks like it could be a snake bite but i’m not sure, could you help me out? it’s kind of blurry but it’s the best i could get she wouldn’t let me touch around it too much. the 2nd picture is the day after

Hello, The two puncture wounds do appear that they could be from a bite wound. A small dog, cat, or snake is possible. I only see one picture, but since she is still alive a day after the bite, it is not likely to be from a venomous snake. I'd recommend having Bella seen by her veterinarian to ensure the wound does not become infected. I hope this is helpful. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
