Found small balls in my cat's bed. Are they worm eggs after treatment?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 5 months and 16 days old | 7 lbs

I have found a few balls in the bed he sleeps in & I am not sure if we should be concerned... We recently gave him his pest medicine so I’m curious if maybe he had a parasite & this is it coming out?

Those look like they could be worm eggs. It could also be something he is eating off the floor or a toy. I recommend to have the stool examined by the veterinarian and bring in a few of those balls you are finding in his bed. This will give you the best, most accurate and fastest answer. Additionally, if it does turn out to be worms, he may need more medication. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
