What floor cleaners are safe for dogs if they lick the floor?

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 6 lbs

i have had a steam mop ever since i had my dog and it broke yesterday and i cant afford another one right now so inwas wandering what would be a safe cleaning product to use around my dogs to mop our floors with that wouldnt harm them if they licked the floor after mopping

Most common household cleaners are safe when diluted according to the instructions. For example, properly diluted PineSol - if Lucy drank straight from the mop bucket, she would likely have vomiting and diarrhea, but it is unlikely to be fatal. So if you keep her out of the mop bucket and attempt to keep her away from the floors until they are dry, you should be fine!

    As long as you keep Oreo out of the room while the product dries on the floor, there is no need to worry about her licking it. Once it's dried, it should not hurt her. I personally have never worried about household cleaners I use, and I have three cats and one dog.
