Why are both my dogs wobbling, losing balance, and out of it?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 7 months old | 17 lbs

I have 2 dogs one about 18 pounds 7 months old, other 27 pounds almost 2. In the last 3 weeks my younger one had a weird episode where his head was kinda bobbling and he was losing his balance but still playful, it ended in about 3 hours was fine and had another one a week and a half later same thing ended in 3 hours and was fine and still is fine. Now tonight my older dog is having some of the same symptoms head is kinda wobbling she’s very out of it, walking and still jumping on couch

Two dogs with the same weird symptoms sounds like a toxicity of some sort. I suggest you check the surroundings for anything they may be ingesting (a plant, any type of poison, cleaning solution, etc). If they are walking drunk-like that is a problem and you should be somewhat worried.
