My Shih Tzu puppy has combined openings. Is it serious? What to do?

Shihtzu puppy female 3 weeks old ,her stool and urine hole is combined. Is this life threatening ,if so what do i need to do. does it need to be fixed ? if so what would be an estimated cost. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 1lb

This is a very unusual condition. I would strongly recommend having a vet take a look at her to ensure this is truly what is going on with her. If so your vet will be able to determine what needs to be done for her and whether or not surgery is appropriate. They should be able to refer your to a certified surgeon if needed to do this surgery. I hope this helps!
