My dog with epilepsy got a double Keppra dose. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Flat-Coated Retriever | Male | neutered | 50 lbs

hello, my dog has epilepsy and takes 500mg Kappra 3 times daily. he was accidentally given a double dose, what should i do? do i still give him his next dose later and just keep an eye on him? he's 55 pounds.

Keppra does have a wide margin of safety, but keep a close eye on Hoyt. If you see any concerning signs like vomiting, lethargy, or diarrhea, have him seen by a vet. Give his next dose at the normal time.
