You Good morning. My cat has been prescribed.03 mg of Buprenorphine every 8-12 hours for pain from a gunshot wound. At 5:00 am my wife gave him his medicine orally unbeknownst to me. When I woke up at 6:30 am I also gave him his dose, the same amount. Poor communication between us but I need to know if he is going to overdose? Please help

With your cat's weight being 11 pounds, there is a dose range for Buprenorphine that fits into the amount you gave. He may be a little sleepier and I would not continue the double dose unless your vet recommends it. Keep an eye on him in case he is too sleepy, but he should be ok. Signs of a problem would be too sleepy, a slower breathing rate.
