Is my dog's teeth plaque improving with daily brushing before a dental?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 10.6 lbs

I’ve been noticing plaque on snowball’s teeth. We stepped up her brushing to once to twice a day for a few days in a row. I know that this won’t take it away completely but does it look like it’s getting any better? We will be scheduling her for a dental in a few days as well just in case. The first pic is when I first noticed it. Second was the other day and third was just taken right now. I haven’t brushed her yet for today.

There is a bit of tartar but truly, it's not bad at all! I have seen so much worse. It looks like it's getting a bit better, but doing the dental is best. I hope this helps, keep up the awesome work!
