What causes pimple-like bumps on my puppy's bottom and how to treat?

Those bumps could be a few things such as blocked pores, an infection or related to her anal glands. These lesions generally resolve on their own without treatment but you should monitor the area closely. Also make sure she does not traumatize the area. If the lesions are not improving after 2 weeks or if they get worse at any point, have the lesions examined by the veterinarian.     Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This depends on an examination though these could be benign or malignant growths. Given his young age, this is most likely a benign change and again an examination would help to determine this. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign.
