I have a half maltese half shih tzu whines 1 year and 10 months and I have noticed that he has these three black spots around his area where he pees. There are three spots on each side that have never been there before. I have not taken him outside in months or around other dogs because I am behind on his shots. Can you please help me with what this is and how it happened or where it came from? Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your question. Is it possible to take a photo graph of the spots and resubmit your question with the photo? Pets can get spots for many reasons including, normal-nonpathogenic pigmentation, infections and endocrine disease. A photo may help to give you the best advice. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
