My dog has new black spots near his genitals. Should I worry?

I have a half maltese half shih tzu whines 1 year and 10 months and I have noticed that he has these three black spots around his area where he pees. There are three spots on each side that have never been there before. I have not taken him outside in months or around other dogs because I am behind on his shots. Can you please help me with what this is and how it happened or where it came from? Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 13 lbs

Hello and thank you for your question. Is it possible to take a photo graph of the spots and resubmit your question with the photo? Pets can get spots for many reasons including, normal-nonpathogenic pigmentation, infections and endocrine disease. A photo may help to give you the best advice.
