My cat has diarrhea but acts normal. Is it parasites or serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year old

My cat has 2 days now with diarrhea, today he was better, ate, played, acts normal. But sometimes passes stool like this. Im going to vet tomorrow to check him but Im so worried by this kind of stool. Is it caused by parasites or it is a major problem?? Please tell me smth ;(

Hi there, it sounds from your question like you were trying to attach a photo (?) but I'm not seeing one attached to your question. However, if Kiko is eating, active, and playful, then you should be just fine with seeing the vet tomorrow. Your vet will likely do a fecal float test to evaluate Kiko's stool for microscopic parasite eggs, and may recommend a course of dewormer either way to be safe. There are certainly other problems that can cause diarrhea, but with Kiko's age, the short duration of diarrhea, and the fact that he seems to be otherwise feeling pretty good, he will likely do great after his vet visit - I would not be too worried about it being a major problem at this stage!
