Yes, you should have Litchi spayed because it has numerous health and behavioral benefits and it helps to control pet over population. Here is a helpful link: https://www.petcoach.co/article/spaying-ovariohysterectomy-the-benefits-in-cats/ Most cats are spayed between 5-6 months of age but some are spayed as early as 8 weeks old. After her spayed, she will need to wear an elizabethan collar to prevent licking and you will need to keep her in a bedroom or bathroom to keep her activity low. You will also need to give her pain medications for 4-5 days after the procedure. Here is a link about incision care: https://www.petcoach.co/article/incisions-and-healing-in-animals/ Uncomplicated incisions heal in about 10-14 days. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Cats can be spayed as early as 8 weeks of age although most people do them between 4 and 6 months of age. I don't understand your question about comforting her. Are you talking about after surgery or just in general? After surgery she will have pain medication to take and the vet will give you discharge instructions to follow.
