Poor Dixie. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. Best of luck.

Poor Crystal! I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.

Withhold all food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. No more than a tablespoon or two at a time. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts waiting at least one hour between feedings. Once the vomiting stops, transition slowly to Bell's regular diet. Monitor for lethargy, loss of appetite, diarrhea or abdominal pain. See your veterinarian if the vomiting does not resolve or if she develops other symptoms.
