My dog recieved trifexis at the beginning of the month for heart worm prevention. My vet did not confirm what preventative he was on and he gave the pro heart injection. When I explained that he had trifexis they told me to watch for side effects and let them know. I was wondering what serious side I should look out for. He has not had any side effects from trifexis or the injection prior to this.

Hello. There should be no problems giving the Pro Heart on top of the Trifexis. Just monitor for any indications of Loki not feeling well, vomiting, diarrhea or loss of appetite for the next couple of days, but there should be no long term issues with this. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
