Why is my betta fish sick with a chin lump and struggling to swim?

HELP! Betta Chin Lump My Male betta has been sitting at the bottom of the tank for a couple weeks now and has been struggling to eat and swim. I also noticed a lump under his chin? Is this some kind of disease? Is he on his way out? He is almost 2 years (I think, not sure how old he was when I got him). I clean his water often and replace his filter every month... not sure what went wrong, other than old age maybe? This my first time handling something like this. Should I give him a little pea?

Thanks for reaching out about Neo and including photos. He does appear very ill, don't think age is the reason as two is not old. Age is not a disease, something else is a problem. With sinking to the bottom, a swim bladder infection is possible. Offering peas as a high fiber food works with over-inflation, not this. Systemic antibiotics are needed and therefore a veterinary visit. Water quality needs to be measured, just not changed. Good luck.
