Kitten scratched my cat's ear, he seems fine. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

Tinys ear got scratched by my kitten, anything special I have to do to or just leave it and watch it? Doesn’t seem to bother him and acting normal.

Poor Tiny. I'd just keep an eye on it for now. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it.
