Could my dog's suspected mouth ulcer be causing his recent seizures?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 4 months old | 65 lbs

I believe ny dog has a mouth ulcer. Could this be a cause of the two seizures that he has had over the past week and a half? He doesn't have any other health problems, and he hasn't been diagnosed with a mouth ulcer, but I believe he has one because he grinds his teeth, has a loss of appetite, is pawing at his face, and has bad breath. Do you think that this could be a cause of his seizures?

No, this won't be the cause of Gladstone's seizures. He needs to see a vet today. I suspect he has a severe dental problem causing the loss of appetite, and bad breath. He's in a lot of pain if he's pawing at his face, and you cannot leave him this way. He also needs to be treated for his seizures. Please take him into a vet now.
