My Chihuahua has an ear infection. Why is he still uncomfortable?

My vet diagnosed my Chihuahua with a double ear infection on Tuesday today he still seems to not feel well. I have called the vet last two days and he told me that sometimes the medicine takes a while to work. He put K.E.T Otic in his ears. I have a follow up appointment Monday. I hate seeing my boy hurting. Should he still be uncomfortable?

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your chiahuahua's ear infections. Unfortunately, ear infections can be very painful and sometimes take two to three weeks to heal. I would recommend keeping your follow up appointment with your veterinarian on Monday so that they can check his progress and determine if he is healing normally. I hope this is helpful.
