Why is my cat limping, hiding, not eating, and has bad breath?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 6 lbs

She started limping on front left paw couple days ago. Today she hasn't used the bathroom or drank, I got her to eat some treats. She licks her lips. She lays here nd doesn't look like herself at all. I left for a few minutes nd came back she starred really weird at me I then picked her up she acted like don't hold her nd got out of my arms nd went under the bed then hid for bout 45 minutes. She is never ever like that with me, not like this period nd her breath smells bad. I'm scared nd worried

I strongly recommend you have Nova to your vet for an exam. When cats hide that means they are sick. If she doesn't eat/drink she will get dehydrated which will only make the problem worse. Her symptoms are too vague for me to give you any indication as to what may be going on. That is why a vet exam is important.
