My bird has lumps on its wings. Are they cysts or something else?

Hi my bird have small lump both sides on her wings near my finger. Is that cysts?? Thank you Sharan

Thanks for reaching out about Angel and including a photo. They could be feather cysts but also other possibilities such as abscesses, xanthomas or other growths. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess, give a diagnostic/treatment plan and to review diet and husbandry. Xanthomas are a result of poor diet (too high in fat) and chronic inflammation. Feather cysts can also have a dietary component. Good luck.
