Can different cat breeds like Persian and domestic cats mate?

Pet's info: Cat | Egyptian Mau | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 16 days old

I want to get my cat a partner. My cat is an indian cant, can the partner be a persian or is it difficult to mate a persian and indian cat?

Any breed of cat can breed together. If you do not wish to have kittens I would recommend getting one or both cats fixed to prevent this.
