My dog stopped eating after eating things in the yard, what's wrong?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 5 months old | 19 lbs

My dog isn't eating. He drinks a little. Eats half of his treat. 2 days ago he ate almost everything in the yard and just suddenly he stopped eating. His nose is dry too

The dry nose isn't a sign of illness, a dog's nose can go from wet to dry just by laying in the sun or near a heat source, but not eating is a sign of illness. If Cesar ate everything in the yard, it could be something he ate is upsetting his stomach or causing a foreign body. I'd take him into a vet immediately.
